The project aims to map and describe the Global Alliance for the Promotion of Physical Activity (GA@PA) interacctions by using Social Network Analysis.

To achive this goal, the project is acomplishing the following objectives:

1. To characterize the members of GA@PA in terms of their professional backgrounds, geographic distribution, and institutional affiliations.

2. To identify and describe the patterns of connections and collaborations across the network.

3. To generate evidence-informed recommendations to strengthen GA@PA's governances, quity, and global coordination.

The signing of the Hamburg Declaration in 2021 1 and on Precision Prevention on June 27, 2025 2 signals the transition from scattered initiatives to a coordinated global effort to embed physical activity, sports and health promotion within community systems, sport environments, and policy frameworks alike. This approach aims to connect scientific knowledge with practical implementation, addressing the complex health challenges societies face today, while safe-guarding performance and inclusivity.
